As part of its Year-End (End of Year, EOY) campaign, Vimenti—a family services organization operating under a comprehensive Two-Generation (2GEN) model—invites individuals, companies, and strategic partners to support a proven approach that delivers measurable and scalable results for vulnerable families in Puerto Rico. At the center of this campaign, titled Da esperanza, da oportunidad (Give Hope, Give Opportunity), are the students and families of Vimenti and Vimenti School, who take center stage by sharing their stories, experiences, and progress as tangible evidence of the 2GEN model's impact.
“At Vimenti, we believe that eradicating poverty is not an abstract aspiration, but an achievable goal when work is guided by intention, data, and a family-centered vision,” said Bárbara Rivera Batista, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vimenti. “Placing our students and families at the heart of this campaign reaffirms our commitment to solutions that create stability today and real opportunities for the future.”
Over the past seven years, Vimenti has demonstrated that meaningful change is possible when strategy is combined with commitment. According to Vimenti: Seven Years of Social and Economic Impact, a study conducted by Advantage Business Consulting, Vimenti’s 2GEN model achieved a 12% reduction in poverty levels among 237 participating families, as well as a social return of $3.41 for every dollar invested in social and economic pillars serving mothers and fathers. In addition, the organization has generated nearly $59 million in economic impact, with an additional $97 million projected in the coming years.

The model's impact is also reflected in the voices of participating families. Melissa, a program participant and mother, shared: “Vimenti provided me with the tools and support I needed to move forward both as a mother and as a professional. Today, I have greater stability and the peace of mind of knowing that my daughters are growing up with a different future. Supporting Vimenti means supporting families like mine.”
