The integrated services center for families, Vimenti, celebrated for the second year its family day, Vimenti Es Familia, at the Luis Muñoz Marín Park in Hato Rey. Over 700 participants, employees, collaborators, and allies of Vimenti gathered at the park to enjoy the activities organized by the Center and the Vimenti Family Council.

Vimenti announces enrollment growth for the 2024-2025 school year
The integrated family services center, Vimenti, successfully began its new 2024-2025 school year with an increase in enrollment, reaching 314 students from kindergarten through seventh grade. Vimenti begins its sixth year of operation with offerings in its educational, social, economic development, and other programming opportunities that contribute to families achieving economic mobility and breaking generational cycles of poverty.

Vimenti promotes more than 80 Vimenti School families in their fifth graduation and grade promotion ceremonies
The integrated family services center, Vimenti, recently celebrated its fifth graduation and grade promotion ceremonies for students and families of Vimenti School, the first public alliance school in Puerto Rico. Following its Two Generation Model, the center and the school recognized the academic performance and goals achieved by more than 80 families, 40 kindergarten students, and 40 fifth-grade students.

Vimenti and Notre Dame University alums create vegetable gardens for Vimenti School
As part of the celebration of Planet Earth Week, students and alums of Notre Dame University, along with volunteers from Foodscapes Caribe, joined Vimenti staff, families, volunteers, and partners to create an edible garden and an aromatic garden at the center's facilities. The activity is also part of Notre Dame's global day of community service activities.

Vimenti celebrates lottery for new students and their families for the 2024-25 school year
The integrated family services center, Vimenti, and the first public alliance school in Puerto Rico, Vimenti School, conducted their public lottery for new students through the virtual platform SchoolMint. The automated process selected the students according to the spaces that the school had available for each grade and established the order of the waiting list of participants.

This visit makes the collaboration agreement between the Los Mets de Guaynabo basketball team and Vimenti official, making Vimenti an ally during their basketball season.

Vimenti receives more than twelve foundations at its facilities to present their results five years after opening its doors at Residencial Ernesto Ramos Antonini in San Juan
The integrated family services center, Vimenti, presented its impact results five years after beginning the fulfillment of its mission of eradicating child poverty in Puerto Rico to directors and representatives of 12 foundations in Puerto Rico and the United States in a round table. During the event, the guests and collaborators were informed that Vimenti managed to reduce the overall poverty of Vimenti families by 11% compared to the reference level in the last five years. Additionally, 64% of Vimenti School families have reported an increase in their monthly income, and 22% of these reported an increase of more than $1,000 per month in the past year.

Vimenti dedicates its second 3x3 basketball tournament to Kefrén Velázquez
The integrated services center for families Vimenti inaugurated today its second friendly 3x3 basketball tournament for students of Vimenti School at its Vimenti II facilities in San Juan. This year's tournament was dedicated to journalist Kefrén Velázquez in recognition of more than 20 years of experience in sports journalism in the country's media.

The San Juan Social Club delivers Christmas gifts to vulnerable families in Vimenti
The integrated family services center, Vimenti, in partnership with The San Juan Social Club (TSJSC), delivered toys to families in the Ernesto Ramos Antonini Residence community. Daven Michaels, the founder of TSJSC, oversaw the collection of toys. The toy drive surpassed last year's number of gifts collected, reaching 3,000 toys. For the first time, Vimenti is the selected organization, ensuring that Vimenti participants and neighbors will receive a gift this coming Christmas Day.

Vimenti presents results and learnings five years after opening its doors to serve vulnerable families at the Ernesto Ramos Antonini Public Housing complex in San Juan
Vimenti, a non-profit organization that offers services to vulnerable children and families of the Ernesto Ramos Antonini Public Housing complex and adjacent areas, presented its impact results five years after starting the fulfillment of its mission of eradicating child poverty in Puerto Rico. During the fundraising event, Building Together: A Look into Economic Mobility, Vimenti announced to the organization's more than 260 guests, collaborators, and allies that 64% of Vimenti School families reported a higher monthly income, and 22% of these families reported a monthly income increase of over $1,000.
