Vimenti promotes more than 80 Vimenti School families in their fifth graduation and grade promotion ceremonies

San Juan, Puerto Rico (Friday, June 7, 2024) – The integrated family services center, Vimenti, recently celebrated its fifth graduation and grade promotion ceremonies for students and families of Vimenti School, the first public alliance school in Puerto Rico. Following its Two Generation Model, the center and the school recognized the academic performance and goals achieved by more than 80 families, 40 kindergarten students, and 40 fifth-grade students.

Calderón Foundation was the setting for the grade promotion of the kindergarten class in the morning. “Today is a special day, full of joy, pride and celebration. We come together as a community to celebrate our little ones' journey through kindergarten,” shared Roberto Porrata-Doria, academic director of Vimenti School. “This is just the beginning of many achievements, and we are thrilled to celebrate this great day with each and every one of you. You are the motivation for future generations, and your parents have been your guide during this fundamental personal and professional development process.”

During the afternoon, the Giomerix Class of Vimenti School celebrated its fifth-grade graduation. “This afternoon, I have the privilege of having accompanied this group of talented and creative students in this last stage of elementary school,” shared Adalirys Santos Salgado, principal of the Vimenti School elementary school. “It fills me with pride and great satisfaction to see them achieve their dreams, go one step further in their lives, and get closer to becoming good men and women. This achievement also belongs to their parents, who always supported them during these years. There are no limits. Keep moving towards the path of success. You can count on me!” concluded Santos Salgado when addressing the graduating class.

Both ceremonies featured dancing and singing performances and lessons learned hand in hand with the Vimenti School faculty. The director of Vimenti's social area, Wilfredo Damiani Echevarría, recognized the goals achieved and the commitment of all the families who graduated with their sons and daughters.

“Another school year comes to an end, and we gather here to celebrate the challenges overcome and the achievements achieved by our Vimenti families during this year,” said Damani Echevarría. “Today we celebrate one more step towards the success and economic mobility of 80 of our families, which, through our Two Generation Model, forge new generations of children, young people and adults, committed to a better present and an excellent tomorrow. for our country.”
