Who Are We?
Vimenti is Puerto Rico’s first comprehensive family services center, committed to empowering families to achieve economic mobility through an integrated, two-generation approach. By supporting both children and adults simultaneously, Vimenti creates opportunities for families to break the cycle of poverty.
Created in 2018, the Vimenti Model provides access to high-quality education, socio-emotional support, and pathways to economic mobility. The model includes Puerto Rico’s first charter school, social and health services, after-school programming, and a workforce and career development program. As an integrated solutions lab focused on eradicating child poverty, Vimenti also works to scale and adapt its model in partnership with other communities seeking lasting, systemic change.
